In order to meet the needs of investors for the trading of mainstream currencies, Matrixport now supports both Swap Trading and Limit Order Trading.

1）What is a limit order?

A limit order means that you can buy or sell cryptos at a specified price, and the transaction can be executed when the market price meets your target price. Limit order trading service supports partial filling.

2）Limit Order Trading fee rate

The fee rate for limit order trading is 0.1%. It is charged for each transaction based on the actual transaction amount. 

Fee payment currency: the base currency for buy orders and quote currency for sell orders.

3）Available assets and frozen assets

When there is an unfilled order, the corresponding funds will be frozen, and the number of available assets will be less than the total balance of the wallet. On the currency details page, there will be specific account details including total balance, available balance, and the frozen amount.

Example: The total balance of your wallet is 5 BTC, and you have 1 BTC unfilled sell order placed under the BTC/USDT trading pair. Such 1 BTC will be frozen and cannot be withdrawn or used for other investments. The available balance is 4 BTC, the frozen amount is 1 BTC, and your total asset is 5 BTC.

Limit order trading service has a minimum and a maximum quantity requirement for different trading pairs. Details are as follows:

5）Under what circumstances will the system cancel an order

You can manually cancel an order, or cancel all in batches in the current order list.

Please beware that all your open orders will be canceled in the case of trading service maintenance. This is implemented to ensure there is no stuck order in these circumstances, avoiding any confusion or inconvenience to be caused by the maintenance events.
