We are pleased to announce that Matrixport has officially launched its new structured product "Buy Now Pay Later(“BNPL”)". 

BNPL is a unique, industry-first structured product that combines crypto assets with traditional financial investment tools known as “installment warrants”*. It allows users to secure potential returns of their investment targets in advance through installment trading, thus enhancing capital efficiency.

*Installment warrants have been widely adopted in markets such as the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).

Matrixport "BNPL" Product Details:

• Underlying Assets: BTC, ETH
• Investment Cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, USDT
• Investment Period: Supports a wide range from 0 to 365 days
• Exercise Method: European option (exercised at expiration)
• Settlement Methods:

1: Paying the final payment

• Pay the remaining loan and take physical delivery: On the maturity day, users can choose to pay the remaining loan to obtain the underlying assets like BTC or ETH.

2: Forgoing the final payment

• Cash settlement without paying the final payment: On the maturity day, users may choose to forgo the final payment and settle the purchased target assets in cash, gaining the corresponding investment return.
• Extend without paying the final payment: On the maturity day, if users do not wish or are unable to pay the final payment immediately d, they can choose to extend the contract and use the cash value of the settled underlying asset as the down payment for the next BNPL product, thus maintaining long-term exposure to the agreement. 

Product Advantages:

• Leveraged Investment Without Additional Margin: Currently, the "Buy Now Pay Later" product offers up to nearly 10x leverage for underlying assets. It is the only leverage tool on the market that does not require additional margin, allowing you to potentially earn returns from holding BTC or other cryptocurrencies.
• Multiple Settlement Methods, Reducing Financial Pressure: On the maturity day, investors can choose to pay the final payment and take physical delivery of crypto assets like BTC, or choose not to pay the final payment and settle in cash or extend the contract.
• Lock in Potential Returns of Underlying Assets with a Small Down Payment, Helping Users to Optimize Use of Their Funds: Users only need to pay a portion of the down payment to enjoy the target asset’s potential appreciation in advance. While the remaining funds can be flexibly used for other investments, maximizing capital utilization.

"Buy Now Pay Later" Lite Guide:

1. Open the Matrixport APP and log in to your Matrixport account (Note: Users must complete KYC 2 to unlock trading and investment functions after registering a Matrixport account).

2. Select "Invest" from the bottom navigation bar and enter the investment page. Then select "Buy Now Pay Later" from the drop-down menu in the navigation bar.

3. Users can choose their desired underlying assets and appropriate investment periods based on their needs.
